Doug Brewer
Founder & Owner
Doug Brewer, the founder and owner of Brewer Heating and Cooling, has been at the helm of the company for more than three decades, providing exceptional service to our customer family. With a wealth of experience and a commitment to continuous learning, Doug remains dedicated to meeting the ever-changing needs of the industry.
Having started the business from scratch, Doug faced significant challenges early on, including the devastating loss of nearly everything in a fire. However, his unwavering determination and resilience led to the successful acquisition of several heating and cooling companies, the opening of a second location, and the establishment of a legacy that spans generations.
One of Doug's greatest joys is working alongside his wife, Sally, who has been by his side since the inception of the company. Recently, their two sons, Johnny and Ryan, have also joined the ranks, showcasing their enthusiasm and dedication to upholding the Brewer Heating legacy.
In addition to his professional endeavors, Doug is actively involved in charitable contributions and sponsorships, always giving selflessly to the community. He cherishes spending time at the family cabin in Princeton, a place that holds special significance as it was built with the support of the Brewer Heating family in the company's early years. Doug is an avid outdoorsman, finding solace in activities such as hunting, fishing, and farming. Above all, he treasures quality time with his family.
Doug and Sally have been happily married for nearly 30 years and are proud parents to four children: Johnny (28), Abby (26), Rachel (24), and Ryan (22). Doug grew up in the Berlin area, completed his education at Laconia High School in Rosendale, and has called Ripon his home since the establishment of Brewer Heating and Cooling.
Sally Brewer has been an integral part of the Brewer Heating and Cooling family since its inception more than three decades ago. As the loving wife of Doug, she has not only supported him in raising their family but has also played a vital role in the business's success. Sally's dedication and administrative support have been instrumental in keeping the operations running smoothly.
Throughout her time at Brewer Heating, Sally has cherished the connections she has formed with her colleagues, considering them an extended family. Witnessing the growth and development of the Brewer Heating family brings her great joy and fulfillment.
Outside of work, Sally's priorities revolve around spending quality time with her loved ones. Just like Doug, she finds solace and happiness at the family cabin, where many precious memories have been made over the years. Sally's roots trace back to Oshkosh, and she has called Ripon her home since the establishment of the business.

Except Doug and Sally Brewer, Mike Horzewski is the longest tenured member of the Brewer Heating and Cooling family, having started in the business in March of 1991. Without Mike’s unbelievably vast expertise and his unwavering dedication to the Golden Rule, Brewer Heating may not exist today.
The phrase “Ask Big Mike” has become commonplace in the business as Mike is the go-to for any technical question about HVAC, electrical, or plumbing. Mike holds a degree in Electromechanical Technology, is NATE certified, holds an EPA Certification for all refrigerants, and has many other certifications that are too many to name. Mike holds a special place in his heart for the elderly of the area. Too often, Mike says, they are taken advantage of by contractors, and Mike works hard every day to reverse this stigma. Mike also loves how honest they are, that they take him for his word, and that they always have good advice for him.
Mike has been a life-long resident of the area, currently residing in Princeton. He and his wife Jolene have been married since May of 1986, and they have three incredible kids together. They have four grandkids, with two more on the way. Mike enjoys being outdoors and spending as much time with his grandkids as possible.

Brian has four children: Fawn (41), Zach (40), John (29), and Boone (28). Brian finds immense joy in spending quality time with his growing family, particularly his beloved grandchildren.

Sean Setzer joined the Brewer Heating and Cooling family in June of 2023 after graduating from Beaver Dam High School. Since he began, Sean has been training to begin completing service and maintenance work. Sean is excited to begin his HVAC Apprenticeship program in the fall of 2024 after he gets some experience under his belt.
Though his career with Brewer Heating and Cooling just recently began, Sean already loves how close knit the company is and how much it feels like a second family.
Outside of work, Sean loves spending as much time as possible doing just about anything outdoors. He particularly enjoys hunting, fishing, and playing with his dog when he gets home each day.
Sean has a deep passion to learn and soak up as much knowledge as possible as quickly as he can. It is because of this that Sean will be a huge part of the success of Brewer Heating and Cooling in the years and decades to come.
Tyler Bradley became a member of the Brewer Heating and Cooling family in June of 2023. Tyler is currently a senior at Ripon High School and is looking forward to returning to the company after graduation in May 2024.
Tyler has a desire to try new things and explore what career he might like to pursue. Last summer, Tyler worked in a new construction position for a different company. He enjoys working with his hands and seeing a project to completion from beginning to end.
The oldest of the Bradley siblings, Tyler enjoys spending lots of time with his family.
Tyler has an excellent, positive attitude. He is excited to be trying something new and gleaning lots of knowledge of the industry from the rest of the Brewer Heating and Cooling family.
